A new look at the European populations in the long term

Eurostat population projections are a main input to the official assessment of the long-term sustainability of public finances of the Member States of the European Union. The new projections, covering 32 European countries, will be released by April 2014 and they will include important methodological updates. This would be the first scientific conference to which the new projections methodology and results are presented.
