The spatial mortality distribution of urban population in the Czech Republic, 2001-2011

Ladislav Kážmér, Charles University in Prague

The aim of the paper is to evaluate the spatial mortality distribution of selected Czech city/town populations within the intercensual period of 2001-2011, appling new advanced statistical methods based on the principles of generalized mixed modeling, i.e. taking into account inner variance heterogeneity, spatial structure and interdependence (autocorrelation) of analyzed spatial units ("Bayesian mapping methods").
